¡Meet tu Host!
As a child of immigrant parents, hailing from Lima, Peru, and raised in the gritty surroundings of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, I am acutely aware of the trials and tribulations that accompany the journey to success. My anecdote is not unique, but it’s a narrative that underscores the importance of resilience, hard work, and the power of education. From my terrifying experience translating for my ailing grandmother to EMTs, to the pressures of performing academically, nearly failing out of college, and then attempting to grow my career, I’ve braved them all.
